The Bill (Reg. No.2014) introduces amendments to the Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Insurance" that becomes effective on Ukraine´s accession to the WTO, appertaining to the registration procedure of insurance and reinsurance brokers non-residents.
Pursuant to the effective Article 15 of the Law "On Insurance", insurance and reinsurance brokers non-residents can render services only through permanent representations in Ukraine that have to be registered as tax payers in compliance with Ukrainian legislation, and included into the State register of insurance or reinsurance brokers. An Authorized body should define the procedure of the said registration.
